Biography
Steve Egan is an Emeritus Member with Mercer Group Associates. His expertise is specializing in management consulting projects to optimize management, organizational and operational effectiveness in local governments and non-profit organizations. His public sector career started with eight years in the Budget Office of Fulton County, Georgia. Mr. Egan then joined KPMG as a senior consultant and manager in the Atlanta and New Jersey Government Services practices and later worked for David M. Griffith and Associates before joining the Mercer Group Inc. in 1995. In addition, he has served on the board or as an officer of several arts, community services, and sports non-profits.
Background
Over the past forty years, Mr. Egan has successfully completed over 190 projects throughout the United States, including work for local governments, utilities, independent boards and authorities, state agencies, and non-profits. Local government clients include work for communities from 1,000 residents to 1.5 million. Mr. Egan holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Government from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont, and a Master’s degree in Government from the American University in Washington DC.
