Mr. Wurzberger’s public sector career has included service as District Representative for a California State Assemblyman in Los Angeles County, Legislative Management Officer representing the U.S. Agency for International Development and the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., and service as a senior personnel manager within the U.S. Departments of State and Defense. Mr. Wurzberger subsequently received his appointment as a member of the U.S. Senior Executive Service and, upon his departure from the Pentagon, was conferred the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service by the Secretary of Defense. After his departure from the Pentagon, Mr. Wurzberger served for five years as a Member of the Board of Directors of The Cow Palace, an historic, multi-purpose facility owned and operated by the State of California in the City and County of San Francisco. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from San Diego State University.
